Èveryday Top

Coming soon! The Èveryday Top is a straight fitting top worked in simple stockinette stitch for the body and designed to have unique fun open-back. The back cutout also doubles up as a bra cover, adding both a functional and distinctive look to the design. The top is finished with a clean folded hem bound at the bottom as well as an I-cord edge wrapping all around the open back, where a knitted bar is then added and sewn on to complete the final look.

NEEDLES: Circular needles of sizes 3.5 mm / US 4, 3.75 mm / US 5, and 4 mm / US 6.

YARN REQUIREMENT: a Worsted Weight Yarn

Suggestion 1: Approximately 150 (160) 175 (200) 235 (265) 300 (330) 390 (430) g of Noro, Akari (200 g = 483 m).

Suggestion 2: Approximately 180 (190) 200 (235) 265 (300) 340 (375) 425 (475) g of Illimani, Sabri II (100 g = 200 m).

MATERIALS:

4 locking stitch markers, 2 pieces of spare yarn for the shoulder Provisional Cast-ons, one much longer piece of spare yarn measuring at least 110 cm / 43 in for the hem construction and guidance, and a tapestry needle.
